Courtesy Cover is a service that will allow BCFCU to cover a transaction if there is not enough money in the account, normally for a small fee. Many confuse this with overdrafting. Our Overdraft Protection service allows money to be transferred from another account, such as a savings account, if there are not enough funds in the account that is short. BCFCU offers several courtesy cover options to our members.
$200 Courtesy Cover:
- fee free
- must sign up for E-Statements
$600 Courtesy Cover:
- $30 fee per transaction
$800 Courtesy Cover:
- $30 fee per transaction
- must have a direct deposit
